♻️ Building the Future of Recycling in St. Tammany

Some areas in St. Tammany still offer limited recycling, but they won’t collect glass (along with much else).

That’s where Lemon Tree Recycling comes in.
We’re a small, local mother-and-son team providing curbside pickup for glass and metal — the materials most programs leave behind.

Every new subscription helps us grow toward a comprehensive parish-wide recycling system that will one day include paper, plastic, and cardboard.

When you sign up, you’re not just recycling —
you’re helping rebuild what sustainable waste management should look like in St. Tammany.

🗓️ What to Expect After Signing Up

  • You’ll receive your two bins (one for glass, one for metal) at least one week before your first pickup.

  • After signing up, you’ll get a confirmation email with your pickup day and instructions to place bins out the night before.

  • Lids are provided, and all materials must be in bins with lids to prevent damage or debris.

  • If glass is repeatedly left outside the bin or in large quantities, an extra service fee may apply.

  • Need more space? Additional bins are $5 each per month.
